With 14 years dedicated to working directly with individuals in supportive roles, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of compassion and honesty firsthand. My journey has been driven by a strong belief in the importance of inclusivity; I strive to create environments where everyone feels connected and truly valued in their communities.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned that when people feel seen and appreciated, their self-esteem and confidence soar. This not only enriches their personal lives but also paves the way for greater independence. I’m passionate about helping others discover their strengths and potential, providing the encouragement they need to navigate their paths toward self-sufficiency. With four years under my belt in the ever-rewarding care industry, I've navigated my way through various spheres of support. Transitioning from elderly care to assisting individuals with learning difficulties was like diving into a mesmerising.

When the day’s work concludes, my heart also finds solace in the company of my loved ones. I am deeply family-oriented; nothing compares to those cherished moments spent with family and friends. Whether sharing a hearty laugh over a meal, embarking on small adventures, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these experiences ground me and remind me of the world beyond work.

Hi I'm Julie,  I have over a decade of experience studying and working in Health & Social Care Children & Young People and Adults in a variety of settings.

I was introduced to You care & We Care when I was volunteering at Yeovil Hospital. At the hospital I visit people with Learning Disabilities who have been admitted to hospital for treatment and advocate for them during consultants/doctors visits to ensure each patient understands the treatment they are agreeing too.

I work part time and my role is to educate and advocate for each client to experience and have a full meaningful life in the community by delivering person centred care considering each persons abilities and capabilities which is in keeping with the companies ethos.
